About the Event:
Digital assets are beginning to drive evolution in capital markets. Institutions and investors are now taking the same structures that have been developed over hundreds of years in the global financial industry (equities, bonds, derivatives, etc.) and are representing them in code.
Participants will learn how to deploy and interact with smart contracts representing security tokens on the Tezos alphanet.
Participants please bring a laptop.

About the Presenter:
Michael Klein (@mjdklein) is a Senior Software Engineer for TQ Tezos. He works with smart contracts on Tezos, formal verification, and tool development. His blockchain experience ranges from mining and trading cryptocurrencies to developing the infrastructure they run on. He mainly develops in Haskell, but also works in Michelson, Ruby, C, and Idris. He is passionate about the application of combinatorics to metaprogramming, vice versa, and is currently designing a language to explore these ideas.
